Privacy Policy

Overview

Guitar Tab Reader ("we", "our", or "the app") is a free tool for reading and playing Guitar Pro files. We built it with privacy as the default: the app does not require an account, and we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data.

Data We Collect

None. We do not collect any personal information. There are no accounts to create, no sign-in, and no profiles.

Your Files

The tab and Guitar Pro files you open stay on your own device. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party. We have no access to your files, and the app works fully offline.

No Tracking or Analytics

  • We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs.
  • We do not show ads or use advertising identifiers.
  • We do not profile your behavior or sell or share any data.

App Preferences

Settings such as zoom level, selected track, and theme are saved locally on your device so the app remembers your preferences. This information never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or backend services. If the app is distributed through an app store (such as Apple's App Store), that store may collect its own usage and download statistics under its own privacy policy, which we do not control.

Children's Privacy

Because we do not collect any personal information, Guitar Tab Reader is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
